Peer Mentors

Peer Mentoring:  
Every SSS student is assigned to a Peer Mentor who will contact the student by mail, e-mail and/or phone.  Peer Mentors are the "ambassadors" of the SSS program.  They help maintain the lines of communication between the students and the full-time staff.  In addition, they help students with problems when the regular staff is not available.  Because Peer Mentors are also students themselves, they have great insight into the problems and questions faced by other students.  By staying in touch via phone and mail, our students know that someone is always available for them.
