If a piece is written with an accompaniment it is highly suggested that it be performed that way.  The performer (not the applied instructor) is responsible for securing, providing music for, and rehearsing with an accompanist in a timely fashion.  Accompanists have the right to refuse playing for any performer who does not follow these guidelines.  Students should consult their studio teacher for names of possible accompanists.
