Department of Geography

Outstanding Concord Geography students may receive recognition for their accomplishments by joining Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU), the international geographical honor society. GTU is organized to advance the field of Geography by furthering professional interest and training. GTU encourages student research through  publication of The Geographical Bulletin and provides scholarships for graduate study in Geography.

Concord University is proud to host the 14th oldest GTU Chapter, the Xi Chapter founded in 1937.
