R. T. Hill Spatial Analysis Laboratory (Marsh Hall, Room 124) - The lab houses 15 fully equipped and networked digital workstations for computer cartography and GIS. ESRI's ArcGIS and Autodesk's AutoCAD software are used to teach and perform research in these areas. Supplementary lab software includes the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft suite of office software. Through coursework in the Spatial Analysis lab, students gain the computer skills that help launch successful careers in Geography and related fields. Ms. Lynne White is lab director and may be reached at (304) 384-6013 or lwhite@concord.edu.

 

Environmental Science Laboratory (Marsh Hall, Room 122) - Funded from Concord’s Title III grant, the lab houses equipment for soil studies, water testing, and meteorological research. The Lab is used by Geography and Geology faculty for teaching and student research projects.
