Dr. Ross is in her second year of teaching at Concord University and has 18 years of teaching experience, in both undergraduate and graduate accounting and business courses, previously in Texas.  In addition to the courses she teaches at Concord, she has also taught International Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting, Management Accounting, and Cost Accounting.  She is the recipient of the Texas Society of CPA Outstanding Educator Award (1999), and has been a Texas CPA since 1986.  Her prior experience includes accounting management positions in corporate and not-for-profit environments and board memberships for not-for-profits.

Dr. Ross is the author of 11 refereed publications, including 5 in the last 4 years appearing in The International Trade Journal, The Commercial Lending Review, ATA Journal of Legal Tax Research, The Case Journal, and the Business Journal for Entrepreneurs.  Her current broad area of research is corporate reporting, with an emphasis on sustainability reporting.  Dr. Ross has also published 8 articles in edited journals and a reading for a textbook and designs and provides her students with extensive study guides to support the content in her classes.  She works closely with the WV Board of Accountancy and WV Society of CPAs to improve the accounting education of students at Concord.  She is a member of the AICPA, WVSCPA, and Net Impact,  a global network of leaders who are changing the world through business.
