Employment Experience:

7/08 – present; Director, Student Center and Student Activities; Concord University; includes responsibility for the Student Center (including Post Office and Game Room), student activities and    entertainment, managing student managers and lifeguards in Carter Center, University 100 class, Orientation, advising the SGA, and managing the central point for collecting and entering data concerning all events on campus.

4/04 – 7/08; Attorney, The Law Office of Marshall S. Campbell, P.L.L.C.

8/03 - present; Adjunct Professor; Concord University, 76 credit hours taught

Various Classes taught: Legal Research & Writing, Academic Research, Mock Trial, Oral Advocacy and Debate, Introduction to Legal Environment, Sociology of Law, Legal Ethics, Legal Procedure; Legal Concepts in Accounting, the Legal Studies Capstone class and a mini-course on Immigration Law.

2003 – 07.  Coached Concord’s Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity’s Mock Trial Teams. Concord’s team won the PAD National Mock Trial Competition in November of 2006, placed second and third in November of 2007, and second in November of 2005, won “Outstanding Defense Team” in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and won “Outstanding Plaintiff Team” in 2007.

General Litigation, including employment disputes, construction disputes, personal injury, commercial contract disputes, ERISA claims, insurance coverage disputes, professional liability claims (including insurance broker malpractice), admiralty claims, and collection disputes, including representing creditors in bankruptcy actions.  Clients included BP, Amoco, Bechtel, Duke Energy Corp., AON, various underwriters at Lloyds of London; Sun Life Assurance Company, and Consolidated Pipe & Supply, Inc.
