1974 Ambassador Brougham 4-door sedan

Model # 7485-7

VIN # A4A857H113783

Here is an example of a zero option Ambassador sedan! However, it also provides an outstanding example of the long list of standard equipment that AMC included at no cost on every Ambassador. With a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of less than $4,600 (delivered) the Ambassador provided all the needed power and comfort features.

It may have been the base car, but finished in Medium Blue (paint code F6) with its standard blue fabric bench interior (trim code T-473A) it represented a formal four door sedan to be seen in at the very finest of venues. Its size and roominess almost called for the use of a chauffeur when going to a symphony or opera at the Kennedy Center or to a White House reception for a visiting dignitary.

Note: this vehicle was purchased from Courtesy AMC/Jeep by the Economic Attaché, Professor of international business and trade, Dr. Jozef Soldaczuk, at the Warsaw School of Economics, while he was stationed with the Embassy of Poland in Washington, DC.
