Communication Arts Departmental Scholarship information Applications for the Departmental Scholarships will be accepted each spring for the next academic year. A committee of Communication Arts faculty will review the applications and make recommendations to the Financial Aid office regarding the scholarship recipients.
In order to be qualified for a Communication Arts Scholarship, students must be declared Communication Arts majors, be enrolled at Concord University full-time, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 in their communication courses. The committee will review this information along with taking into consideration the number of communication courses completed, involvement in the department, involvement on campus and in the community.
The Financial Aid office will notify the scholarship recipients.
If a student is currently receiving a scholarship or grant money (such as the WV Grant) they may be ineligible for this award.
The Communication Arts Scholarships will be awarded to students based on individual merit and availability without regard to race, color, age, religion, disability, gender, and national or ethnic origin.
