Gypsy Moth Trapping Season, WVDA
The WV Department of Agriculture is planning on
hiring approximately 15 individuals for the 2010 gypsy
moth trapping season (April 1st-August31st). These
positions are associated with the Gypsy Moth Slow the
Spread Project that is cooperative with USDA Forest
Service.
The WVDA prefers college students with studies in
entomology, plant pathology, forestry or other
biological sciences, or equivalent experience. It is
imperative individuals can read and use topographic maps
as well as GPS devices. Individuals with four-wheel
drive vehicles and ATVs will be given preference.
The jobs range from $8.00 to $10.00 per hour, depending
upon previous employment with WVDA seasonal programs.

reflection at least twice a week. Work with county
Extension agent or Energy Express county contact to:
Ensure media involvement at the site. Plan and implement
a site open house, preferably in the fifth week of the
program. Plan and participate in Celebration of Service
event the sixth week of the program. Support AmeriCorps
members in conducting family visits and maintaining
contacts with families. Maintain a sense of teamwork and
cooperation among all those involved in the program.
Maintain open and honest communication with all those
involved in the program. Assume responsibility for
facility and equipment and be present when the facility

Principle
Responsibilities: Clinical Counselors provide
short-term, solution-focused, non-psychiatric
individual, couples, and group clinical intervention for
eligible clients. Conduct intake, screening, assessment,
work with the client to establish an individual
treatment plan outlining the goals of treatment. Provide
individual, couples and group counseling. Offer
prevention and education programs and services as
practicable based on client needs. Maintain all

applicable policies, laws and instructions.
Qualifications: Master's
Degree in Social Work from a graduate School of Social
Work accredited by the Council on Social Work education,
or a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from
a graduate program accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy, or a
Doctoral degree in Psychology from a program accredited
by the American Psychological Association Licensure,
Clinical license/certification to provide clinical
services as an independence practitioner, Acceptable
licenses are: LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, and LCP. Because of
contract requirements, we regret that we are currently
unable to consider LPC's for this position, must have a
minimum of two years of full-time, post-mater's
