Division of Business Accreditation AACSB Accreditation Concord University is a member of AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. www.aacsb.edu AACSB International is a membership association of educational institutions, business, not-for-profit and government organizations devoted to the advancement of higher education in business administration and management. Membership does not imply accreditation. The Division of Business and AACSB The Division of Business at Concord University first considered accreditation in 1999 as the next logical step to insure that the quality for which our programs were known would be maintained and continuously improved. Our plan for accomplishing the goal of accreditation was inspired by the view that the faculty should improve the institution, making it a better place for all current and future stakeholders. We believe that quality programs, quality faculty, and quality students improve the opportunities available to our graduates; along with the academic culture of our Division and our University. Our overarching goal is that our efforts would help improve our region’s economy by preparing our students to develop fulfilling careers, through self-efficacy, which would benefit their employers. Our programs build upon Concord’s strong liberal arts foundation. The Division of Business has made significant progress toward the criteria set for accreditation.
